Although it can seem like Victoria Falls only offers adrenaline based activities there is actually far more to do and see here - and some pretty exciting options are safe and friendly for even young children. The town also offers a convenient 'home-base' from which many exciting activities are easily accessible whilst you have comfort and convenience.

Raft Float above the Victoria Falls,
Good trips for kids and Seniors as its includes a game drive.
We start this tour with about 1 hour off game drive inside the national park before we put you in our rafts. Please note that this is a small park in Victoria Falls so we can not compare it with other big parks such as Hwange & Chobe with lots of animals.
For company safety reason we prefer to use 16ft rafts than canoes / two man inflatables as this section of the river has crocodiles and hippos but in case someone request to use a canoe or a two man inflatable we can arrange that with our sister company
Raft floating and canoeing above the falls provides the chance to experience all that the stunning and charming upper Zambezi River has to offer. Our choice of trips ranges from a sedate morning raft float trip to an afternoon raft drift trip.
Full day trips are available upon request with all of the animal life and the relaxed environs of the river yours to savoir. Depending on the choice of trip, you can experience some small but exciting rapids as you will see some remote white sand in the pristine Zambezi National Park, drifting down seldom seen channels, and all the excitement of the great African outdoors with its rich diversity of mammal, bird, fish and reptile life. This is a great trip for kids and seniors who do not want to walk in and out of the Batoka Canyon for the rafting trips.
Canopy Tour

The Victoria Falls Canopy Tour offers amazing views of Zambezi rapids, Victoria Falls Bridge & the spray of the Falls.
Observe the riverine forest from a variety of different vantage points – from above, below and within the canopy itself. Experience forest bird-life, which can include the Knysna and Purple crested Turaco (Lourie) and Peregrine Falcons. The Victoria Falls Canopy Tour offers a network of slides, trails and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges.This experience is suitable to adventure seekers of all ages including families and groups. This is family fun with a unique birds-eye view of one the seven natural wonders of the world.
The Canopy Tour consists of nine slides, varying in length and 1 cable bridge walkway. The longest slide is about 85 metres long and the shortest 40 metres in length. Our friendly and experienced staff will give you a detailed safety briefing before the canopy tour, taking you step by step through your upcoming adventure. There are two guides on each tour and the activity lasts for between two to two and a half hours.
Chobe Full Day Safari

Day Trip ( Two safaris, one in a boat & second in a jeep )
This tour departs daily with clients transferred to the Kazungula border where their Botswana guide will meet them. From here they proceed straight to the river where they will spend the morning viewing game along the Chobe River. The morning cruise ends at around 12:30 p.m, and clients are then taken to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch at no extra charge. After lunch, clients board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where they will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. After their game drive, they are taken back to the Kazungula border where they will be met by their Zimbabwean guide for their return transfer to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Activity Description
Spend a day rafting one of the best rivers in the world with your family. Paddle class 3-5 rapids and enjoy a family lunch on top of the Batoka Gorge.
You will be picked up at your hotel and be transferd to the starting point of the activity.If there are adults who want to paddle big rapids, they will start from rapid number 1. Kids may join on Rapid 11, and raft the more calmer but fun section suitable for kids.

Activity Description
There are 2 different Victoria Falls Helicopter options available:
The first is a 12/13 minute flight which takes off just a few kilometers out of town
The flight takes you over the falls several times in both directions, the pilot’s bank the helicopters as you circle so you can really see right into the chasm of the falls.
You can see the towns of Victoria falls in Zimbabwe and Livingstone in Zambia and all the hotels which is quite impressive and you can see up and down stream very clearly.
The second option is a 25 minute flight which starts off exactly like the shorter flight but then takes you for an enthralling Game viewing flight upstream along the Mighty Zambezi and the adjoining Zambezi National Park.
You are likely to see quite a bit of Game including many hippo in the river. The scenery is breathtaking and this is an unforgettable experience
School & Village Tour

From the roar of the mighty Victoria Falls to the cultural experience of a village tour, Shockwave offers this tour in a village called Monde and Chisuma. Clients are taken to an authentic African village approximately 20km from Victoria Falls town where they are given the opportunity to watch local villagers going about their daily tasks. The tour enables the client to see tribal life first hand, visiting rural homes, watching their fields being tended and possibly getting the chance to help in some of the day-to-day chores. Also you will go and visit local school and meet with these lovely kids full of smiles.
Recommendations: Bring any clothes, sweets, stationery, etc which can be useful to the villagers and school kids. Shockwave has donated a class room to help kids to have shelter during hot and rain season as this local preschool did not even have a single class room.
Zambezi National Park Game Drive - in Victoria Falls

Activity Description
A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the Zambezi National Park including elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard. In addition, herds of sable antelope, eland, zebra, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck and impala as well as many of the smaller species of game can be viewed.
The Zambezi River is home to over is 75 species of fish and is famous for its bream and fighting tiger fish.
Zambezi National Park in Zimbabwe has two main game-viewing sections:
The Zambezi River Game Drive, with an extensive network of roads along the river accessed through the main gate of the Park.
