The Mighty Victoria Falls Flow on March 29th 2020

The flood waters from the upper Zambezi catchment have now reached Victoria Falls, and roaring to Kariba dam downstream. The highest flow recorded so far is 5 006 cubic metres per second, one of the highest since 1907 when flows measurements on the Zambezi started. Average flows = 3,400m3/s, lowest recorded = 390m3/s recorded in 1995/96 season.
